Introduction to essay writing
An essay is a long pieces of writing copmposition on any subject or topic. Generally its consists of paragraphs that expresses personal opinions or gives information or descriptions of the subject/topic concerned. So an essay is highly personal by nature because the authors expresses his person ideas and opinions on some topics. An essay is a written compositions that helps essayists to express their personal ideas or opinions on some topics. Each essays has beginning. Beginning of essay is started with the introduction of the topics. After this we enter into body of the essay. We should expalin and expand the topic with example. Finally we come to the end of the essay has a topics/ title, introductory paragraph, body paragraphs with detailed descriptions and the ending of the essay with conclusions. If these points are noticed, a writer can esaily write his/her essay by relating ideas to the topic perfectly.
Tips for writing an essay :
There are no strict rules to write an essay. An essay can be started/written any way we like.
Generally, the following points are considered while writing an essay.
Planning how to start and finish the essay.
- Beginning with introduction after selecting topic/title.
- Writing the main body of the essay.
- coming to an end with/ without conclusion.
- Combining points/ideas related to topics.
- Describing/writing firsts sentence perfectly before moving to the other.
Parts of Essay:
An essay is usually divided into three parts.
1.Introduction
It is the first paragraph of an essay. The first paragraph should be introduction of the topic. It should atteact readers attention to read on. It includs the introductory statement that could be an anecdote, quotation, saying, description, a fact that will lead to the thesis statement. Thesis statement includes the main idea of the essay that is started in a single sentences. The introduction part of the essay should be shorter than the body of the essay.

2. Body
The second part of the essay is its body. Body should include appropriate facts. Body of an essay includes supporting details / paragraphs. Supporting details develops the main idea of the essay: In body of an essay, there is also a topic sentences. A topic sentences is the sentences that will explain what the paragraph is mainly about. Each paragraph includes one topic sentences. We use some transition words like first, second, third, fourth, however, fathermore etc. To link the supporting paragraph together. Body of an essay includes examples as well as analysis. There should be coherance and cohesion i.e. the ideas should be connected well.
3. Conclusion
The ending parts of an essay is the conclusions. there can be writes opinion in the conclusions. It may includes one personal opinions or idea or feeling on a subject. Concluding paragraph restates the key points and summarizes the main points of the essay.
